Particle board be made by small chips through processing wood, trunks, by the wood flaker. then after a full production line, like the drying step, glue step, press step, cutting step, sanding step, the wood chips will be made be particle board
Advantages:
1- Cost lower, price favorable
2- Surface smooth, can be used to decoration and furniture
3- Weight is not heavy, is easy to transport
<2> OSB board
Actually OSB board belongs to particle board. but it not mean particle board is OSB board. OSB board's full name is Oriented strand board, it is made by wood strands, and its surface are wood strands end to end setup, and its inside are side to side setup. And particle board, it is out of order.
<3> MDF board
MDF board's full name is Medium Density fibreboard, it is made by sawdust, which produced by the wood crusher. also through the full production step, the drying machine, gluing machine, forming machine, pressing machine, cutting machine, to make the MDF

2- Cost is lower than plywood
3- Its structure is consistency, so it is easy to cutting and drilling
