Equipped with intelligent temperature control, reaching set temperature quickly and maintaining a tolerance of ±2°C, ensuring stable bonding quality.
2. 400-Ton High Pressure Structure
Main cylinder adopts high-precision plunger design, with a maximum pressure of 400 tons, suitable for thick or hardwood plywood pressing.
Heavy-duty frame or column structure ensures high rigidity, low deflection, and long service life.
3. 20-Opening Multi-Layer Design
20 openings allow multiple plywood sheets to be pressed simultaneously, greatly increasing output per cycle.
Reasonable spacing between layers facilitates automatic or manual loading/unloading, and can be integrated with a board loader for continuous production.
4. Thermal Oil Heating System
Equipped with an independent thermal oil boiler or external heat source, offering high thermal efficiency and low operating cost.
Optimized flow channels inside hot plates ensure uniform surface temperature, minimizing board warping.
5. Hydraulic and Control System
Dual/triple pump hydraulic system provides smooth and controllable fast closing, pressing, holding, and pressure relief.
Optional PLC touchscreen control system allows digital setting and automatic operation of pressure, temperature, and time parameters.
6. Safety and Maintenance
Multiple safety protections against overpressure, overtemperature, and oil leakage.
Hot plates precision-machined for wear and corrosion resistance, easy to clean and maintain.
Working Principle
This hot press operates on a thermal oil circulation heating and hydraulic pressing principle. The working cycle is as follows:
1. Heating Phase
Thermal oil is heated to the set temperature (typically 120–200°C) by an external boiler and circulated through internal channels of the hot plates. Each layer heats up rapidly and uniformly. The rapid heating feature reduces standby time by over 30%.
2. Loading Phase
The operator or an automatic board loader places glued veneer stacks into each of the 20 openings. Each stack is positioned between two hot plates.
3. Closing & Pressing Phase
The hydraulic system activates the main cylinder, pushing the moving platen upward to close all layers simultaneously. Once the pressure reaches the set value (up to 400 tons), the system enters pressure-holding mode, maintaining stable pressure to promote chemical crosslinking of the adhesive under high temperature and pressure.
4. Holding & Curing Phase
Under set temperature and pressure, the press holds for a certain duration (depending on board thickness and adhesive type), ensuring full curing of the glue line and a dense internal structure of the panel.
5. Pressure Release & Opening Phase
After holding, the hydraulic system slowly releases pressure. The moving platen descends, and all layers open naturally. The finished plywood sheets are removed either manually or by an unloading device.
6. Cooling Phase (Optional)
Some models include a cooling function, switching to cold thermal oil circulation to accelerate temperature reduction, preparing the press for the next loading cycle.

1. Hot Plates | Total of 21 plates (20 layers require 21 plates). Internal thermal oil channels provide uniform heating. Surfaces are precision-machined for flatness. |
2. Main Cylinder | Usually located below or above the frame, delivering 400 tons of pressure. Plunger design ensures high thrust and long service life. |
3. Moving Platen | Connected to the main cylinder and linked to the hot plates, enabling opening/closing actions, bearing pressure and transmitting it to each layer. |
4. Fixed Frame | Integral or column-type structure supporting all pressure and weight, ensuring high rigidity. |
5. Thermal Oil Heating System | Includes a thermal oil boiler (or electric heater), circulation pump, piping, valves, expansion tank, etc., responsible for heating and temperature control of the hot plates. |
6. Hydraulic System | Consists of hydraulic pumps (dual or triple pumps), oil tank, solenoid valves, pressure gauge, safety valves, etc., providing and controlling pressing force. |
7. Control System | PLC + touchscreen available for automatic control and monitoring of temperature, pressure, time, pressing curve, and other parameters. |
8. Rapid Heating Auxiliary Devices | Such as high-flow circulation pumps, efficient heat exchangers, intelligent temperature control modules, enhancing heating speed and temperature uniformity. |
9. Safety Protection Devices | Includes overpressure relief valves, overtemperature sensors, emergency stop button, leak detection, etc. |
10. Loading/Unloading Auxiliaries (Optional) | Automatic board loader, unloader, synchronized board pusher, etc., improving efficiency and safety. |
