The Moon Grows Full, But No One Rests — The Dedication Behind 25 Containers

The Mid-Autumn Festival is approaching, and the moon is growing round. While many people are beginning to prepare for family reunions, the company’s factory tells a different story: forklifts weaving through the yard, crane arms rising and falling, containers lined up in rows, and loading work proceeding in a tense yet orderly manner.
At this time, the boss and key company leaders were far away in Brazil, attending an exhibition and visiting clients, working hard to expand overseas markets. Back at the factory, a large wave of container loading tasks arrived all at once. Insufficient manpower, the approaching double festivals, a complex and ever-changing international situation, tight shipping schedules, difficulty securing shipping space, and a surge in freight orders — one challenge piled on top of another, like an unannounced major test.
Other staff members stepped up voluntarily and cooperated fully. From coordinating vehicles to checking goods, from verifying lists to directing container loading, everyone took on multiple roles and worked from day into night. In just five days, all 25 containers were fully loaded and successfully delivered to the designated port before the cut-off and port closure deadlines, quietly awaiting the start of their voyage to Africa.
Inside these 25 containers is a complete plywood production line. From a single log to a finished board, this production line covers the entire plywood manufacturing process and mainly includes the following core machines:
1. Log Debarking Machine
Responsible for removing the bark from logs. Cleanly debarked logs peel more smoothly, and the veneer surface contains fewer impurities. This is the first checkpoint for ensuring subsequent quality.
2. Veneer Peeling Machine
Peels debarked logs into continuous, uniform veneer sheets. It is one of the core processes of the entire production line. Its precision and stability directly determine whether the veneer thickness is uniform and the surface is smooth.
3. Veneer Dryer
Dries the peeled veneer and controls the moisture content within a reasonable range. Proper drying ensures that no bubbling or delamination occurs during subsequent gluing and hot pressing.
4. Glue Spreader
Evenly applies glue to the surface of the veneer, preparing it for lay-up and hot pressing. Whether the glue is applied evenly directly affects the bonding strength and environmental performance of the plywood.
5. Cold Press
Pre-presses and shapes the glued mat, making it denser and flatter and facilitating transport and handling for the subsequent hot pressing process.
6. Hot Press
The key equipment of the entire production line. Under high temperature and high pressure, the glue cures and multiple layers of veneer are firmly bonded together. The quality of the hot pressing process directly determines the strength, water resistance, and service life of the plywood.
7. Sanding Machine
Sands the surface of the hot-pressed boards, making the surface flatter and the thickness more uniform to meet export and subsequent processing requirements.
8. Edge Sawing Machine
Cuts the four edges of the boards neatly, ensuring precise finished dimensions and straight edges that meet customer standards for specifications and appearance.
From debarking, peeling, drying, gluing, cold pressing, and hot pressing to sanding and edge sawing, this complete set of equipment is closely linked, forming a full plywood production line. Loading and shipping these 25 containers on time is likewise a chain of closely linked steps, relying on everyone at every stage to avoid dropping the ball.
Against the backdrop of a tight international shipping market and growing uncertainties, completing container loading on time and delivering the goods smoothly to the port was not a matter of luck, but of the team’s execution and cohesion. Although the boss and key leaders were far away in Brazil, the colleagues back home safeguarded the delivery schedule, the company’s reputation, and the client’s trust through their actions.
