The correct process can dry the veneers at the fastest speed while ensuring quality and minimizing energy consumption, while the improper process will cause many wood to be reduced in grade or even scrapped due to drying defects and uneven moisture content. Main principles

When the dryer is operating normally, the fuel is fully burned in the combustion chamber to generate heat energy, which is fully absorbed by the drying medium in the thermal energy drying system, producing a temperature of about 130-170 degrees Celsius. Under the action of the circulating fan, the high-temperature airflow passes through the control system and is transported The system transports high-temperature hot air to the drying chamber to dry the wood; at the same time, the steam generating device on the equipment can generate a large amount of normal pressure steam. 

According to the requirements of the drying process, the steam can be sent into the drying chamber in a timely manner to spray the wood. Steaming and humidity control treatment, the humidity control system is an independent steam system and is equipped with a safety device. 

The wood dryer first evaporates the moisture on the surface of the wood. The moisture content of the surface layer is lower than that of the interior of the wood. The internal moisture moves toward the surface layer under the action of the moisture content gradient. The speed of drying in the early stage depends on the evaporation speed of water on the surface of the wood. In the middle and late stages of drying, the drying speed depends on the movement speed of water inside the wood, which is inversely proportional to the thickness of the board and the specific gravity of the wood. Additionally, sapwood dries faster than heartwood. The chord surface of broadleaf wood dries faster than the diameter surface; but the difference between the chord surface of coniferous wood is not very obvious. The drying effect of the wood dryer is also greatly affected by the tree species.

There are adjustable valves on the air inlet duct and return air duct of the dryer equipment. The air inlet volume and the swirling air volume can be adjusted at any time according to the drying process requirements of the wood. There is also an adjustable compensation at the air inlet of the fan, based on which the air pressure and air volume in the drying room can be adjusted. The main body of the equipment is equipped with a steam injection adjustment valve, which can adjust the amount of steam injection in a timely manner according to the different needs of wood drying. There is also a combustion-supporting device in the lower part of the main body of the equipment. When the fuel is not easy to burn due to various reasons, the combustion-supporting valve can be opened to increase the combustion intensity and reach the temperature required for each drying stage.
