The energy-saving continuous flat-pressing hot-pressing line achieves an energy consumption reduction of over 35% through four key technological pillars: precise zone control, closed-loop heat energy circulation, efficient drive system, and low-temperature process adaptation. It also improves product accuracy (thickness tolerance ≤ ±0.15mm) and stability. The core lies in converting energy consumption from a "cost" to a "reusable resource", providing an economically and environmentally friendly solution for the wood panel industry. The future development direction will focus on hydrogen heating and AI dynamic optimization of the press curve, further approaching the goal of a "zero-carbon press".

I.Continuous Flat Press Working Principle  


Innovative integration beyond conventional continuous presses:  

1. Mat Forming  

  - Dried particles blended with resin (PMDI/UF) via air-sifting forming with gradient structure (fine surface/coarse core).  

  - Energy-saving feature: Variable-frequency drive forming heads reduce idle consumption; online mat density monitoring prevents material waste.

2. Pre-pressing & Infeed  

  - Mat compressed by belt pre-press (0.5-2 MPa) to minimize thickness variation before main press.  

  - Energy-saving feature: Lightweight composite pre-press rolls cut drive power by 18%.

3. Continuous Hot Pressing  

  - Mat conveyed between steel belts through multi-zone controlled heating platens:  

    - Inlet high-pressure zone (20-50 MPa): Rapid compression to target thickness.  

    - Central constant-temp zone (180-220°C): Complete resin curing.  

    - Outlet pressure-release zone (5-10 MPa): Dimensional stabilization.  

  - Heating method: Thermal oil circulation (30% more efficient than steam); optional electromagnetic induction heating for faster response.

4. Post-processing  

  - Continuous panel → Flying cross-cut saw → Star cooler (forced-air cooling) → Sanding → Stacking.  

  - Energy-saving feature: Cooling section heat recovery for drying stage.

 - Micro-channel thermal oil tubes in platens → 40% faster heating; 98% temp uniformity.  

- Steel Belt Friction Reduction:  

 - Nano-ceramic coating (friction coefficient ↓60%) → drive power ↓15%.  

 - Auto-lubrication system minimizes friction heat.  


(2) Heat Recovery Systems (≈8% Savings)  

- Exhaust Gas Incineration:  

 - Formaldehyde-rich exhaust → Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer (RTO) (≥850°C) → heats thermal oil (replaces 30% natural gas).  

- Cooling Section Heat Reclaim:  

 - Panel cooling heat → heat pipes → preheats dryer intake air (+50-80°C).  


(3) Drive System Upgrades (≈7% Savings)  

- Permanent Magnet Motors:  

 - ≥96% efficiency (vs. 89% for induction motors) → 10-15% power reduction.  

- Intelligent Hydraulic Station:  

 - Variable-frequency pumps → standby flow ↓90%.

(4) Process Synergy (≈5% Savings)  

- Low-Temp Curing Resins:  

 - PMDI enables curing at 160-180°C (vs. 190-210°C for UF).  

- Mat Moisture Control:  

 - Online IR sensors maintain ±0.5% moisture accuracy → optimizes drying energy.
