Working Principle
Logs are automatically fed into the machine by a conveyor system. The log is precisely clamped and driven to rotate at high speed by hydraulically or servo-driven main spindles. The peeling knife mounted on the precision tool rest is continuously and uniformly fed towards the rotating log by a servo motor or hydraulic system, according to the preset veneer thickness (typically 0.1mm to 5mm). The sharp blade continuously peels the wood into a consistent ribbon of veneer, which is then collected via a conveyor belt or a reeling device.
Constructed with a robust bed made of high-strength alloy steel and high-quality cast iron, ensuring dynamic stability under high torque transmission and long-term operational accuracy. Main components include a dual-spindle clamping system, a precision tool rest feed system, an automatic feeding/unloading device, and a central control cabinet.

Intelligent electronic control system provides power on-demand, automatically entering low-power mode during standby and log changing.
Incorporates energy recovery technology (on some high-end models) to reuse braking energy, achieving overall energy savings of up to 30%-40% compared to traditional equipment.
2. Fully Automatic Intelligent Control:
PLC + HMI Control System: Equipped with a Programmable Logic Controller and a Human-Machine Interface touchscreen. Parameters (thickness, speed, length) are set with one click, offering intuitive and simple operation.
Automatic Centering System: Utilizes laser or mechanical scanning to automatically calculate the optimal rotation center of the log, maximizing veneer yield and quality.
Automatic Feeding & Unloading: Can be seamlessly connected with upstream and downstream conveyor lines for continuous production, minimizing manual intervention, reducing labor intensity, and safety risks.
Fault Diagnosis & Alarm: The system monitors the operating status of all components in real-time, providing immediate alarms and displaying fault points for quick maintenance.
3. High Precision & High Stability:
Precision Servo/Hydraulic Drive: The tool rest feed system uses closed-loop control, ensuring peeling thickness error is less than ±0.02mm and excellent veneer thickness uniformity.
Rigid Structure Design: Exceptional resistance to deformation ensures smooth operation even during high-speed peeling of large-diameter hardwood, effectively reducing vibration and noise.
Constant Linear Speed Peeling: The system automatically adjusts the spindle speed as the log diameter decreases, maintaining a constant cutting linear speed, thereby guaranteeing consistent veneer surface smoothness.
4. Wide Adaptability:
Capable of processing various wood species such as poplar, eucalyptus, pine, birch, etc., suitable for producing different types of plywood like construction formwork, furniture board, and packaging board.
Parameters like tool rest angle and pressure can be easily adjusted according to wood species and process requirements.
5. Durability & Easy Maintenance:
Key components like spindles, guide rails, and lead screws use internationally renowned brands or special treatments, offering wear and corrosion resistance for extended service life.
Modular design facilitates easier and quicker daily maintenance and replacement of critical parts.
