Continuous Flat Press Production Line
I. Working Principle
Objective: Continuous thermo-compression curing of oriented wood strands.
Scientific Basis:
1. Thermal Conduction Curing
- Heated platens (170–210°C) → heat penetrates strands → resin (PMDI/phenolic) cross-links.
2. Pressure Gradient Control
- Inlet High-Pressure (8–12 MPa): Compacts strands, removes air
- Mid-Zone Pressure (4–6 MPa): Maintains resin flow
- Outlet Low-Pressure (1–3 MPa): Releases internal stress
3. Orientation Preservation
- Constant belt speed (0.5–3 m/min) prevents strand displacement.
II. Workflow

1. Oriented Forming
- Surface strands: 80-120mm, longitudinal alignment
- Core strands: Transverse alignment ("cross-oriented" structure)
- Synchronization: Former-press speed sync (±0.1m/min)

2. Pre-pressing/Deaeration
- 0.5–1MPa pressure removes >60% air (prevents blisters)
