Compact Plywood Suction Stacker Machine
The Compact Plywood Suction Stacker is a lightweight automation solution developed for customers who have limited floor space but need to improve stacking efficiency. The overall width of the machine matches that of a standard roller conveyor, requiring a minimum footprint of only 6 square meters, and can directly replace a manual stacking station. The equipment adopts an integrated suction gantry design, combining vacuum generation, suction grasping, lifting, and horizontal movement into one unit, avoiding the complex piping and cables of separate systems.
1. Extremely Compact Design: Machine length ≤3m, width ≤2m, adjustable installation height. Can easily pass through standard workshop doors; mobile casters optional.
2. Efficient Suction System: Built‑in high‑speed rotary vane vacuum pump (or energy‑saving vacuum generator) paired with 4–8 independent suction cups. Maximum effective suction force 120kg (sufficient for picking up a single sheet of plywood).
3. Adaptive Gripping: Suction cups have a flexible buffer mechanism, adapting to slight panel warpage or uneven thickness (5–30mm) without damaging the panel surface.
4. Simple Operation: Color touchscreen with Chinese/English interface. 3 preset common stacking modes (single‑sheet aligned stack, alternating turning stack, counted stack) – one‑button start.
5. Fast Installation & Commissioning: Pre‑assembled at the factory. On site, only need to connect power and compressed air (for vacuum release). Ready for production within 2 hours.
6. Safe & Economical: Standard light curtain protection, low suction alarm, low noise operation (<75dB), energy consumption only 1/3 of large stackers.
After the plywood arrives at the stacking position manually or via an upstream roller conveyor, the operator presses the start button or an automatic induction switch triggers. The suction gantry descends, the cups contact the panel surface, and the vacuum system builds negative pressure. When the set value is reached, the gantry rises and moves horizontally to above the stacking pallet. The vacuum is released, the panel is dropped, and the gantry returns to the standby position – completing one stacking cycle. Cycle time is approximately 12–15 seconds per sheet.
