4Foot/ 8-Foot Spindleless Hydraulic Veneer Peeling Machine
1. Log Preparation
Debark and cut logs to the required length (4ft or 8ft). End squaring is not critical (coreless design has lower requirements on log ends).
2. Loading & Clamping
Load the log via a loading rack or manually. The hydraulic system drives two sets of friction rollers (bottom and side/top rollers) to clamp the log without spindles.
3. Rotation & Peeling
Hydraulic motors drive the friction rollers, rotating the log by friction. Simultaneously, the knife carriage feeds hydraulically, and the blade peels a continuous veneer strip from the log surface.
4. Veneer Discharge
The peeled veneer passes smoothly through guide plates and pressure rollers, and can be further handled by a winder or clipper.
5. Core Discharge
When the log diameter becomes too small to be effectively gripped (approx. 30–40mm), the friction rollers automatically release, and the remaining core drops or is pushed out.
6. Repeat Cycle
Load the next log and continue production.
