Product Overview
The High Speed Vacuum Suction Plywood Palletizer is an automated solution specifically designed to solve the finished product stacking challenges in the wood-based panel industry (especially for plywood, blockboard, particleboard, etc.). It replaces traditional manual handling and stacking. Through a high-speed, precise vacuum suction system, it automatically picks, lifts, transfers, and neatly stacks panels from the end of the production line onto designated pallets, preparing them for subsequent strapping and warehousing processes.

The material and layout of the suction cups are specially designed to avoid leaving marks or scratches on the plywood surface, ensuring the quality of the finished product.
3. Intelligent Control for Easy Operation:
Features a well-known brand PLC control system and a touch screen HMI for intuitive and simple operation. Simply set the panel dimensions and stacking layers, and the machine runs fully automatically.
Includes a self-diagnostic function that displays fault information in real-time, facilitating quick troubleshooting and maintenance.
4. Robust Structure for Longevity:
The main frame is constructed from welded high-strength rectangular tubes and steel plates, treated with aging processes to eliminate internal stress, ensuring stability and rigidity during high-speed operation.
Key transmission components (such as guide rails, chains, motors) are sourced from reputable international or domestic brands to guarantee long-term operational reliability.
5. Flexible Adaptation & Strong Compatibility:
Easily adjustable to accommodate various plywood sizes and thicknesses.
Can be designed for different stacking heights and pallet exchange methods (e.g., forklift removal, automatic pallet magazine) based on the customer's site layout.
Working Principle
When a plywood panel arrives at the pick-up station via the conveyor, a photoelectric sensor sends a signal. The gantry's traversing mechanism and lifting mechanism coordinate to position the vacuum suction frame precisely above the panel. The suction cups make contact, the vacuum system activates, and the panel is securely gripped. The mechanism then lifts and traverses to position the panel directly above the pallet. The vacuum is released, and the panel is placed smoothly onto the stack. This cycle repeats until the preset number of layers is reached, at which point the machine signals for forklift removal or initiates an automatic pallet change system.
The High Speed Vacuum Suction Plywood Palletizer is mainly composed of the following core systems, which work together to ensure high-speed, stable, and precise operation:
1. Main Frame:
Welded from high-strength rectangular steel tubes and plates, treated with aging processes to eliminate internal stress. It features a robust structure with high load-bearing capacity, providing a precise mounting base for all moving parts.
2. Vacuum Suction System:
Vacuum Generation Unit: Equipped with a high-power vacuum pump or high-pressure blower to provide a continuous and stable negative pressure source.
Suction Cup Assembly: Multiple specially designed wear-resistant, non-marking rubber suction cups are arranged according to panel sizes to ensure firm gripping without damaging the surface.
Pipelines and Control Valves: Includes vacuum lines, filters, vacuum pressure switches, and high-speed on/off valves for rapid suction and release.
3. Traversing & Lifting Mechanism:
Traversing Mechanism: Driven by a servo motor, using a precision gearbox, rack and pinion, or synchronous belt drive to move the suction cup frame horizontally across the gantry at high speed with precise positioning.
Lifting Mechanism: Also driven by a servo motor, using chains, steel cables, or ball screws to raise and lower the suction cup frame smoothly with adjustable speed and gentle acceleration/deceleration.
4. Conveying System:
Infeed Conveyor: Receives plywood from the press or previous process, typically a roller or belt conveyor, often equipped with centering devices to ensure accurate panel positioning.
Pallet Conveying/Supply System: Includes an empty pallet magazine and pallet roller conveyor, which automatically supplies empty pallets to the stacking station and moves full pallets out to the forklift pickup point.
5. Electrical Control System:
PLC Controller: Acts as the brain of the machine, running the core control program, processing input signals, and outputting commands.
Touch Screen HMI: Displays machine status and fault information, and allows operators to set parameters (e.g., panel size, stacking layers, speed).
Sensor System: Includes photoelectric sensors, proximity switches, limit switches, and encoders to detect panel position and machine status in real-time, ensuring accurate actions.
Electrical Cabinet: Houses all drives and low-voltage electrical components, arranged logically for good heat dissipation.
6. Pneumatic System:
Provides auxiliary power for functions like side positioning, panel pressing, and stopper movements. Composed of an air compressor, FRL unit, solenoid valves, and cylinders.
7. Safety Protection System:
Includes safety fencing around the machine, light curtains, emergency stop buttons, overload protection devices, etc., ensuring the safety of operators and the equipment.
