On 20th May, 2023, we loaded two sets Hot press machine and one set Cold press machine for our Vietnam client, for making plywood board.
Plywood hot press is a common woodworking machine equipment, mainly used for hot pressing multilayer boards or other materials to make them into integrated plywood. It works by using heat and pressure to seep glue into the planks and bind them together to form a strong plywood。
The main components of plywood hot press include heating system, pressure system, control system and frame, etc. Among them, the heating system is mainly composed of heating tube, temperature control valve and heat conduction plate, which is used to provide heat source, so that the surface temperature of the board reaches the temperature required for glue curing. The pressure system consists of a hydraulic cylinder, oil pump, oil tank and pressure gauge, which provides pressure so that the board is compressed while it is heated, allowing the glue to penetrate into the board. The control system is used to control heating and pressure time and temperature and other parameters to ensure the quality of the plywood
The veneer, which is evenly coated with glue, goes into the cold press first. After being prepressed by the cold press, the veneer inside each plywood will stick together. Then the plywood is transferred to the hot press, the heating system and the pressure system are started, the heating tube starts heating, the hydraulic cylinder starts increasing the pressure, each layer can only put one sheet of plywood, so the number of layers of the hot press is the number of plywood. By applying high temperature and pressure, each sheet of plywood becomes a very strong sheet of plywood.
Hot press is one very important and necessary woodworking machine for Plywood panel production. According to the plywood thickness and size, it can be different pressure and size to suitable the plywood.
