K1——Working time utilization coefficient K1=0.9~0.95

K2——the feed filling coefficient of the dryer, horizontal continuous feeding K2=0.9~0.95,

K2=0.8~0.85 when feeding discontinuously

m - the number of layers of the dryer

S - veneer thickness (m)

B ——The width of the veneer on each layer of the dryer (m): B is the veneer when feeding continuously

Belt width, B is the effective working width of the dryer when feeding discontinuously

u ——feeding speed of the dryer (m/min)

Q=450*0.9*0.9*3*0.001 *2.5*9=24.60(m3/class)

Number of dryers required:

N=V/Q (set)

In the formula: V——the volume of veneer to be dried in each shift (m3/shift)

N=V/Q=30.5858/24.60=1.24, take 2 sets
