Main Equipment
The High-Capacity Full Bamboo Plywood Hot Press Production Line consists of multiple functional modules covering the complete process from bamboo raw material handling to finished panel output. The main equipment includes:
1. Raw Material Pre-treatment Equipment
Bamboo Sorting Machine: Grades bamboo strips and bundles by thickness, width, and moisture content.
Bamboo Drying Equipment: Uses hot air circulation or vacuum drying technology to control bamboo moisture content to 8%-12%.
Glue Impregnation Equipment: Automatic impregnation machines ensure uniform adhesive penetration into bamboo strips or bundles. Common adhesives include phenolic resin or melamine-modified resin.

2. Mat Forming & Pre-pressing Equipment
Automatic Mat Forming Machine: Automatically arranges impregnated bamboo materials into mats according to the specified grain orientation.
Cold Pre-press: Applies low pressure to the formed mat to give it initial integrity for subsequent hot pressing.

3. Hot Pressing Equipment
High-Tonnage Multi-Opening Hot Press: The core equipment of the line, featuring a high-tonnage hydraulic system (typically 2,000-5,000 tons) and multiple platen openings, allowing simultaneous pressing of multiple bamboo panels for high-capacity output.
Thermal Oil Heating System: Provides stable heat to the platens with temperature control accuracy of ±2°C, ensuring uniform temperature distribution within the panels.
Automatic Loader and Unloader: Automatically feeds mats into the hot press and removes finished panels, reducing manual labor and improving efficiency.

4. Post-processing Equipment
Edge Trimmer: Cuts rough-edged panels to standard dimensions.
Sander: Calibrates panel thickness and ensures surface smoothness.
Stacking and Packaging Machine: Automatically stacks finished panels and packages them for storage and transportation.

5. Intelligent Control System
PLC Central Control System: Integrates control of all line equipment, supporting recipe management, parameter adjustment, and fault diagnostics.

Production Process
The production process of the High-Capacity Full Bamboo Plywood Hot Press Line can be divided into five stages: raw material preparation, impregnation and drying, mat forming and pre-pressing, hot pressing, and post-processing.
Stage 1: Raw Material Preparation
1. Bamboo raw materials (strips, bundles, or strands) are sorted by the sorting machine to remove substandard pieces.
2. Qualified materials enter the drying equipment, reducing moisture content to 8%-12%.
3. Dried materials are stored by specification for later use.
Stage 2: Glue Impregnation & Secondary Drying
1. Bamboo materials enter the automatic impregnation machine for thorough saturation with adhesive.
2. Impregnated materials undergo secondary drying to remove excess moisture from the adhesive, achieving an optimal state for forming.
Stage 3: Mat Forming & Pre-pressing
1. The automatic mat forming machine arranges impregnated bamboo materials into mats according to the specified grain orientation (typically cross-layered).
2. The cold pre-press applies low pressure to the mat, forming a cohesive slab that can be easily transferred to the hot pressing stage.
Stage 4: Hot Pressing
1. The automatic loader feeds mats into the multi-opening hot press.
2. Under high temperature (130-160°C) and high pressure (25-40 kg/cm²), the adhesive cures and the bamboo material is compressed into a dense panel.
3. Pressing time depends on panel thickness, typically 40-80 seconds per millimeter.
4. The automatic unloader removes the finished panels from the hot press.
Stage 5: Post-processing & Finished Product
1. The edge trimmer cuts rough panels to standard dimensions (e.g., 1220×2440 mm).
2. The sander calibrates panel thickness and ensures surface flatness.
3. Finished panels are inspected, graded, and stacked by the stacking and packaging machine for storage.
