Plywood Cold Bonding Line for Plywood Production
Plywood cold bonding line, is the necessary step for making plywood board. With glue machine /glue spreader for coating glue on veneer surface, then workers using these glued veneer to form the sandwish plywood panel according to the required plywood size and thickness. Then will convey the formed plywood panel into cold press machine, to pre-press glued veneer plywood through suitable pressure, make inside plywood veneer stick together.
For Glue spreader, its working way very simple, it includes four rollers, two pieces are rubber roller, for coating glue; another two pieces are steel rod, mainly for squeeze glue, help rubber roller to spreading glue on veneer surface.
After start glue spreader, put the veneer on the entrance between two rubber rollers, it will automatically convey and through the rubber roller, thus the veneer surface will be coated with balance glue.
So worker will form them into sandwich plywood panel through lay out pieces of veneers according to the required plywood thickness and size.
After lay out them, convey the panel into cold press machine, start the cold press machine, it will press the panel, press time not fixed. some clients set press time 30mins, some 1 hour, some longer time. The cold press machine function for pre-press glued panel. Usually for pre press machine, its pressure can be 400ton, 500ton, 600ton, will be poplar and enough. and for the standard plywood size 1250*2500mm, the cold press table size will be standard too. But if your plywood size smaller or bigger, we can customize the cold press to suitable for your plywood size.
Some our clients not use cold press machine, directly convey the glued veneer into hot press machine. Actually we advise use cold press machine, thus it can convey the plywood easily to hot press machine, and the hot press machine pressing time will be shorter and plywood quality will be better.
