How to Calculate Plywood Glue Quantity

Calculation of the amount of glue required for plywood

The amount of glue required can be calculated according to the plywood output

Qc=·K1·K2 kg/m3

In the formula: Qc——the amount of liquid glue consumed per cubic meter of finished plywood (kg/m3)

dc——the amount of liquid glue on one side of the core board (g/m2)

m - the number of layers of plywood

SΦ——Plywood finished product thickness (mm)

K1——plywood opposite side coefficient K1=F not/F already

F not---- area of plywood before trimming, F have---- width of finished plywood.

K2——Compound loss coefficient: urea-formaldehyde resin glue K2=1.034~1.035

K1=2500*1280/(2440*1220)=1.075

K2=1.035

Qc1=280*(3-1)* 1.075*1.035/(3*2)=103.845kg/m3

(2) 2440*1220*5

Qc2=280*(5-1)* 1.075*1.035/(5*2)=124.614kg/m3

⑶1830*915*3

K1=1890*975/(1830*915)=1.101

Qc3=280*(3-1)* 1.101*1.035/(3*2)=106.3566kg/m3

⑷1830*915*5

Qc4=280*(5-1)* 1.101*1.035/(5*2)=127.628kg/m3

Total rubber consumption:

Qc=103.845*70%*70%+124.614*70%*30%+106.3566*30%*70%+127.628*30%*30%=110.8719kg/m3
