Product Overview
The High-Efficiency Spindleless Rotary Peeling Machine for Eucalyptus is advanced wood processing equipment specifically developed for the physical characteristics of plantation eucalyptus logs—such as fast growth, medium diameter, potential curvature, and moderate wood hardness. By abandoning the traditional spindle design and adopting a friction-drive principle, it achieves "extreme peeling" of logs, elevating both yield and production efficiency to unprecedented levels. It is the core equipment in the global eucalyptus plywood manufacturing industry.
1. Loading & Clamping: The log is placed into the machine's work area via a loading device (e.g., a hydraulic log loader) onto two bottom drive rollers. A top pressure roller, driven by hydraulics or a servo motor, descends to press the log firmly against the drive rollers, creating a three-point frictional clamping force.
2. Rotation & Peeling: The two bottom drive rollers rotate synchronously in opposite directions, using powerful friction to drive the log in a rotary motion. A high-strength alloy knife mounted on a precision slide continuously feeds radially into the rotating log according to the preset veneer thickness.
3. Continuous Peeling Down to the Core: As peeling progresses and the log diameter decreases, the drive and pressure rollers automatically adjust their position and pressure via a control system to maintain effective grip. This continues until the log is peeled down to a very small core (typically a 40-60mm "pencil core"), at which point the veneer ribbon breaks naturally, completing the processing of one log.
Why is eucalyptus wood more suitable for cardless rotary sawing machines?
1. Economic factor: Eucalyptus trees are fast-growing forests. The core of planting and processing lies in controlling costs and increasing yield. The cardless rotary sawing machine can maximize the utilization rate of each log, directly enhancing economic benefits.
2. Material compatibility: The diameters of the artificial forest eucalyptus logs typically range from 150mm to 400mm, and they may also have a certain degree of curvature. The models without spindles perform exceptionally well within this diameter range and can tolerate a certain degree of irregularity.
3. Product Positioning: Ash veneer is widely used in the manufacturing of plywood and multi-layer board substrates. The requirements for the surface smoothness and thickness uniformity of the veneer are usually lower than those of high-grade decorative thin wood. The non-axle machine can fully meet its quality standards.
High Production Efficiency: Peeling speed of 20-30 RPM
Precision Control: ±0.05mm thickness tolerance ensures consistent veneer quality
Intelligent CNC System: Touchscreen operation with programmable parameter storage
Wide Compatibility: Handles logs with diameters of 150-800mm and lengths of 1300-2700mm
Energy-Saving Design: 15-20% more energy efficient than conventional equipment
Durable Construction: High-strength alloy knife carriage ensures long-term stable operation
